DCFS is excited to announce another round of our pre-service training for foster care applicants is kicking off April 16th at 5:30 PM! Our training offers 8 total hours of introductory training for those applying to be a foster parent. WALK US HOME 5k For Foster Homes Registration is now open! In honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, help us spread the word: Rural Nevada NEEDS foster homes! Our annual 5k will occur on April 27, 2024, at 10:00am in Carson City, NV, followed by the Planting Seeds of Change Block Party & Family Resource Fair!
