Other Ways to Help

Fostering not a good fit for you? There are so many ways you can make a positive impact to a foster child’s life including…

  • Donate or organize donation drives for gift cards, dining cards, toys, food, and/or brand-new clothing items for foster children.
  • Become a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and be the voice of the child in foster care. Find your local chapter, go to: Home – National CASA/GAL Association for Children.
  • Join Bikers Against Child Abuse! For more information, go to: Bikers Against Child Abuse® International | Breaking The Chains Of Abuse.
  • Business & Agency owners can Take the Pledge to become a Foster Friendly Workspace by filing out the linked form. A major deterrent for prospective foster parents is the inflexibility of their workplace to accommodate the needs of foster families. The Foster Friendly Workplace Certification is a set of sensible policies that support workers who seek to open their home to a child in need.
  • Request A Lunch & Learn session (Virtual or In-Person) for your employees or group members to learn more about the need for foster homes in rural Nevada. Fill out the form below.
  • Organize a Team Building Project through Foster Love: Motivate your team while making an impact to youth that is tax-deductible. Click here to Learn more: Team Building for Good | Foster Love
